Ordained as a Pastor of Breakthrough by Faith Ministries, Inc. on December 8, 2022, Pastor Gwendolyn Noel serves alongside her husband, Senior Pastor Elton Noel, Sr., in teaching, preaching, and equipping ministry leaders for kingdom impact. She also assists with the ministry's Administration & Marketing operations.

A strong advocate for personal and family wellness, Pastor Gwendolyn is deeply committed to both spiritual growth and emotional healing. She holds double Master's degrees in Management and Pastoral Counseling (with an emphasis on Marriage & Family), equipping her with a comprehensive understanding to serve the community.

Pastor Gwendolyn's dedication extends through various leadership and board roles. She has contributed her expertise to the boards of:

• Destined for Destiny Women's Institute, dedicated to women's empowerment. 
• Love Embrace Inspire, Inc., a non-profit dedicated to youth development.
• K.O.T.A. (Keep Our Troops Alive), a vital support and advocacy group for veterans and military personnel grappling with PTSD, depression, and suicidal ideation.

In April 2020, Pastor “G” launched Breakthrough Power of Prayer, and later in February 2025, she introduced Breakthrough Moments, a weekly virtual broadcast that brings encouragement, prayer, and fellowship to people wherever they are. These ministries became a lifeline during the Pandemic and beyond to build a community grounded in love, faith, and connection. Today, Pastor “G” pours her heart into ministering the Word on Sundays and faithfully supports Pastor Noel through leadership training and spiritual development.

Above all, Pastor Gwendolyn says her greatest blessing is her family. Married to Pastor Noel for over 44 years, mother of three wonderful children, grandmother to nine, and great‑grandmother to one, she is truly grateful and humbled to be a part of their lives.

Deacon Ronnie Baker serves faithfully on the governing board at Breakthrough by Faith Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Elton Noel, Sr. He leads the Safety and Security Ministry, helping ensure that every person who walks through the doors feels protected, welcomed, and cared for.

Affectionately known as “Deacon Ronnie,” he also oversees the Audio/Visual Ministry, working closely with his team to provide excellent sound and technical support for weekly services, rehearsals, and special events. His commitment to excellence helps create an atmosphere where worship and the Word can be received without distraction.

A proud native of Orlando, Florida, Deacon Baker has a genuine heart for youth. He is often found offering encouragement, guidance, and support to help young people pursue God’s purpose for their lives.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing sports, watching movies, and spending quality time with his wife and son — moments that keep him grounded, joyful, and grateful.

Deaconess Joyanne Payne, affectionately known as “Deaconess Joy,” serves as the Treasurer of Breakthrough by Faith Ministries and as a trusted member of the governing board under the leadership of Pastor Elton Noel, Sr. She works closely with the Pastor and the Finance Team, helping to steward the financial health and continued growth of the ministry with wisdom, integrity, and care.

A passionate worshiper and soul‑winner, Deaconess Joy faithfully serves on the Praise & Worship Team. She is known for her joyful spirit, her powerful testimony, and her unwavering commitment to sharing God’s love with everyone she encounters.

With a Master’s degree in Social Work, she carries a deep passion for helping those in need. Beyond her ministry role, she serves as a board member for Love, Embrace, Inspire, Inc., where she mentors teens and young adults through curriculum development and meaningful programming.

She is the proud mother of three adult children and grandmother to two. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and finding thoughtful, practical ways to bless others — a reflection of her generous heart and servant’s spirit.

Deacon Derrell Hazelton and his family became members of Breakthrough by Faith Ministries in July 2023 and have been faithfully serving ever since. A humble servant at heart, Deacon Derrell plays a vital role in supporting Pastor Elton Noel, Sr. before, during, and after each service.

Deeply committed to the ministry of prayer, he stands in agreement with Pastor Noel every Sunday morning, interceding for the service and the congregation. His belief in the power of prayer and his reverence for the call of God shine through in both his actions and his spirit.

Already ordained as a deacon prior to joining, he was officially recognized by Breakthrough by Faith Ministries as one of our Deacons in July 2023. Deacon Derrell fully embraces the mission and vision of the ministry, consistently demonstrating loyalty, faith, and service.

Outside of church, he enjoys fishing, watching sports, and spending quality time with his wife and family — moments that refresh and strengthen him for the work he loves to do.

Sister Novelette Walker began attending Breakthrough by Faith Ministries in 2020 and became a member in June 2021. An encourager by nature, she is often seen greeting others with a warm smile and a kind word, making everyone feel welcomed and at home the moment they arrive.

Sister Walker wholeheartedly embraces the mission and vision of the ministry, showing her dedication through faithful service and consistent support. Her spirit of excellence, her love for God, and her genuine care for people have made her a cherished part of the church family.

In January 2024, she was appointed to serve on the governing board of Breakthrough by Faith Ministries and also serves on the Finance Team. In this role, she works closely with the Pastor and fellow board members to help fulfill the ministry’s mission, advance its vision, and develop strategies for growth and community impact.

Brother Brian Gillison and his family became members of Breakthrough by Faith Ministries in 2017. A faithful and humble servant, Bro. Gillison consistently steps in wherever needed and fully embraces the mission and vision of the ministry. His willingness to serve and his steady dedication have made him a dependable blessing to the church family.

In March 2024, he was appointed to the governing board of Breakthrough by Faith Ministries. In this role, he works closely with the Pastor and fellow board members to help guide the ministry’s direction, develop strategies for growth, and strengthen its impact within the community.

Bro. Gillison is deeply committed to both his faith and his family. When he’s not serving, he enjoys traveling and spending quality time with his wife and daughter moments that refresh and inspire him as he continues to serve with joy.
